Hua is an IT professional who specialises in application support and development. Hua is experienced in working for both commercial and public sectors. Being part of the ICT industry, Hua understands the limitations and inflexibilities the industry offers to women and is willing to put effort into making it a better place for women, therefore encouraging more women into ICT industry.

Aside from work, Hua enjoys volunteering for the community. Some of the events Hua volunteered for are: the Cancer Foundation, the Canberra Balloon Festival, Rally of Canberra (ROC) and Confederation of Australian Motor Sport (CAMS). Hua is also a regular in City to Surf and other community programmes.
