Nerida Gill is the Director of a Canberra-based software company and the developer of a self-named accounting software package designed specifically for volunteer treasurers in the community and non-profit sector. Nerida has used her 22-years of experience in the software industry and four-years of experience as a volunteer treasurer to create a software solution to develop a successful software business addressing the needs of the not for profit sector. Nerida works extremely hard to market and grow her business. The success of her efforts is exemplified by the many prestigious awards her company has achieved since incorporation in 2006. These include the 2006 Australian Business Award for Community Contribution in the industry category, the 2006 and 2007 ACT Small Business Award in the Prime Minister’s Awards for Excellence in Community Business Partnerships and 2008 Canberra BusinessPoint Award for their Business Plan. Nerida has developed a software solution to meet customer needs and she has built and grown a successful business around this. Having seen Nerida speak on her business and experiences, it is difficult not to be inspired by her achievements. She is certainly a great role model for all women in ICT.

Nerida Gill is the September 2008 WICked Woman Award Recipient and the WICked Woman of the Year 2009.
